Moyo fell ill in September and has largely been out of public life leading to speculation that he might not return to work.
He was, however, pictured today welcoming the new British ambassador to Zimbabwe Melanie Robinson together with President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Moyo, who is also responsible for international trade, will have a mammoth task to convince investors in view of the crisis that has dogged the country since October.
