Zimbabwe extends lockdown by another 14 days

Zimbabwe has extended its national lockdown, which ends on Sunday, by another 14 days.

It has, however, eased some of the restrictions by allowing limited commercial activity with some businesses allowed to operate from 8am to 3pm.

All people that go out will now be required to wear masks, including home-made ones.

Public gatherings of more than 50 people continue to be banned.

Public transport will be limited to buses only and the informal sector will not be allowed to operate.
