Zimbabwe dollar down to $5774.28 to the United States dollar

The Zimbabwe dollar today shed $18.57 to average $5 774.2758 to the United States dollar as it continued its gradual slide against the greenback.

The rate of the decline has, however, slowed down with most of the transactions now in United States dollars.

The central bank and business are calling for the increased use of the local currency to preserve its value.
