United Nations-owned African Management Services Company (AMSCO) has refused over the years to disclose its relationship with River Ranch Diamond Mine. It admitted receiving payment from the mine but could not explain how it was paid since the mine was not supposed to be selling its diamonds because an ownership dispute. River Ranch also declined to discuss the terms of the contract.
