According to the Ministry of Health 5 488 people got their first dose today raising the total to 54 892.
Another 1 606 got their second dose bringing the total to 4 095.
Two people died of the virus today while there were 29 new cases and 79 recoveries, 58 of them in Matebeleland North which saw the number of active cases in the province plunge to 48.
Zimbabwe has so far recoded 36 778 cases, 1 518 deaths and 34 555 recoveries.
It now has 705 active cases, 437 of them in Harare, 110 in Bulawayo and 36 in Manicaland.
Zimbabwe and South Africa have both said they will clamp down on movements of people at Easter next week to curb the spread of the pandemic which has killed 52 535 people and affected 1.5 million in South Africa. There are, however, only 21 774 active cases.
