Zimbabwe coronavirus deaths shoot past 1500

Five people died of coronavirus in Zimbabwe today pushing the number of deaths to 1 501.

There were 48 new cases and only 15 recoveries resulting in the number of active cases going up to 959.

Only Harare seems to be making progress. The number of active cases has gone down to 464.

In Bulawayo they went up to 45 while Manicaland remained at 125 and Matebeleland North at 194.

Only 76 people were vaccinated today bringing the total to 36 359.

Zimbabwe now has 36 471 coronavirus cases. Some 34 011 people have recovered.
