Zimbabwe coronavirus deaths drop to 13

Zimbabwe today recorded 13 coronavirus deaths and 156 new cases with the seven-day rolling average for new cases dropping from 197 yesterday to 173.

The country has now recorded 1 316 deaths and 34 487 cases but 28 383 people have recovered, including 238 today.

The number of active cases has dropped to 4 788 with Harare dropping to 1 733 while Manicaland rose to 755. Matebeleland North remained in third place with 519 while Bulawayo dropped to 405.

Zimbabwe extended its national lockdown to 15 February which is now nine days away.
