The Ministry of Health said the single local transmission was from known contacts.
The country now has 170 active cases and has tested 46 021.
The World Health Organisation has warned Zimbabwe not to panic over the spike in the number of cases but has urged people to observe hygiene and social distancing recommended by health experts.
Globally there are now nearly 6.4 million cases with over 377 500 deaths.
