Zimbabwe 2026 monetary policy statement at a glance

Zimbabwe has released its 2026 monetary policy statement in which it seeks to stabilise its local currency and has scrapped the 2030 deadline to return to a mono-currency.

It has also ordered banks to reduce charges, good news for its overtaxed consumers.
