The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front has suspended five senior officials from Manicaland over their alleged involved in a fraud and corruption scandal. The five are provincial chairman Mike Madiro, provincial youth chairman Tawanda Mukodza, provincial youth secretary for administration Mubuso Chinguno, provincial youth secretary for security Admire Mahachi and former Mutare Urban district coordinating committee chairman Clever Mparutsa. The five are reported to have collected $700 000 from diamond mining companies at Marange claiming that the money was for party activities.
