The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front yesterday lifted its suspension on three former ministers and high-ranking party officials, Webster Shamu, Francis Nhema and Flora Bhuka.
Secretary for Administration Ignatius Chombo said the three were now back as ordinary members and were free to contest any party position.
Shamu is a former Minister of Information and party national commissar.
All three were suspended with several others over suspicions that they once belonged to a faction led by former Vice-President Joice Mujuru.
Chombo said the cases of three provincial chairpersons, Joel Biggie Matiza (Mashonaland East), Ezra Chadzamira (Masvingo) and Kizito Chivamba (Midlands) will be discussed in the next politburo meeting.
