ZANU-PF leads as rural-urban divide reflects in the 2018 elections

The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front was leading after the announcement of the third round of election results with 71 of the 99 constituencies, but these were mostly rural.

The Movement for Democratic Change Alliance held 27 seats mostly in Harare and Bulawayo with the National Patriotic Front holding one seat.

Blackman Masango Matambanadzo beat both ZANU-PF and Alliance candidates to win the Mbizo seat.

The next round of results is scheduled for 3am.
