What people say about Tsvangirai’s exclusion from the opposition coalition

Movement for Democratic Change leader Morgan Tsvangirai seems to have a lot of support according to readers’ comments on The Insider facebook page. Reacting to a story that four opposition parties had formed a coalition to be known as the Coalition of Democrats, the readers said the coalition would get nowhere without Tsvangirai. Only a few welcomed Tsvangirai’s exclusion saying he was too dictatorial and would never step down if he got into power.

Wht type of a political party with chairpersons only and not presidents. They kno tht once they elect a leader from their skemishy gathering they will crush before even taking off. The so-called united parties are even more than th people who follow them. i even wonder if their grouping is aimed at removing zanu pf in 2018.

One thing I have observed abt Zimbos;the majority/ordinary man is that we don’t realise that the going out of 1/2/3 members of the opposition may seem insignificant in the short term,but in the lot of other ordinary voters are several other people(number unknown,but more than the defecting) who also share the same thoughts with the defector(s).So far,a lot of people have left the Tsvangirai camp,along with defectors,but the true picture is yet to be seen by even Morgan himself.If I were him,Ivwould have stepped down at the first sign of cracks and maintained my dignity and reepect(if he values it) ,but he has obstinately stuck there for further demonstration and humiliation.Hameno zvake.Ini ndinongoyeva.
