“Docter Nhunzvatunzva grace dzopererwa hadzina kana nyaya wena kana asinei nehupresident anorwei pafunge??????”
This was one of the comments by an Insider reader following First Lady Grace Mugabe’s dressing down of Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front youth rally in Bindura at the weekend
Loosely translated, the reader was saying, “Dr Grace Mugabe is now waffling, she does not have anything to say. If she is not interested in becoming president what is she so upset about? Think!!?”
Another commented: “Grace ari kuita kuponda chimusangano chembavha nesando. Garwe richavamedza vose”- (Grace is destroying the organisiation of thieves with a hammer. The crocodile will swallow all of them).
These sentiments imply that far from humiliating Mnangagwa, the First Lady could have embarrassed herself more. Some readers even asked what her rant on Mnangagwa had to do with a youth rally.
Below is what the readers said:
*Mudzingei tione kwamunoenda Mnangagwa idhara harimanikidze kudiwa anodiwa ega.
*You are the problem first lady.
