Home Affairs Minister Ignatius Chombo’s former wife, Marian, with whom he had a bitter divorce seven years ago is now reportedly broke, according to a report in Newsday.
The paper said Marian had been declared “a person of no means” after the deputy sheriff visited her farm in Raffingora to try and attach property to recover a $157 229.10 debt she had with the CBZ bank but found nothing worth attaching.
Marian exposed the vast wealth Chombo had acquired during their marriage which had lasted almost 22 years before they separated.
