Zimbabwe’s voter registration exercise was reported to have started today as the country readies itself for elections this year. President Robert Mugabe said the elections will be held in March but the country is still working on its new constitution, after which a referendum should be held before any elections. But Mugabe has said the elections could be held under the existing constitution.
