Supporters of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s faction of the Movement for Democratic Change continue to bear the brunt of the violence that continues to rock the country, a report said today. The report by the Zimbabwe Peace Project on political violence in September says 73 percent of the victims belonged to Tsvangirai’s MDC while those from ZANU-PF were a mere 8 percent. The violence is likely to escalate if the country goes ahead with elections next year.
