Two die of coronavirus in Zimbabwe, death toll now 224

Two people died of coronavirus today raising the death toll to 224 but 25 people recovered bringing down the number of active cases to 1 595 as there were only 26 new cases.

There are now 7 479 cases and 5 660 recoveries.

More than 1 000 of the active cases are in Harare.

There are now 28.5 million cases across the globe with 916 900 deaths, 20.5 million recoveries and 7.1 million cases.
