Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai today said there will be no elections unless certain minimum reforms, which include the accreditation of observers six months before and after the elections, are implemented. This means elections cannot be held until October or November, if the government agrees to his terms, as there are only five days to the end of April. Tsvangirai, who is the leader of the Movement for Democratic Change, had previously said the elections should be held in September. The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front wants them in July.
