Tshabangu vows to deal with Chamisa- “I want to reduce him to nothing,” he says

Self-proclaimed Citizens Coalition for Change interim secretary-general Sengezo Tshabangu has vowed to deal with the party leader Nelson Chamisa for saying he does not know him.

“I want to reduce him to nothing, I mean nothing because he can’t vow to say that he doesn’t know me,considering the suffering I endured (at) the hands of ZanuPF in a bid to remove it from power, today he says he doesn’t know me,that’s Bull shit,” Tshabangu posted on his X handle.

Tshabangu has caused pandemonium in the CCC after recalling 15 Members of Parliament and 17 councillors.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has proclaimed 9 December as the date for the by-elections with nominations closing on 7 November.

To those who say he is a Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front impostor, Tshabvangu said: “To all those who say I’m a ZanuPF project,to hell with you and I repeat bcz I am a founding member of Opposition,I stood firm against ZanuPF and until now but I discovered the reason why we fail to overtake ZanuPF is because ZanuPF is organised and that’s what I’m fighting for.”

He warned that he could make further recalls: “Wait and see, more recalls are coming and we need to bring back the original opposition principles on track, you cant tell me that Chamisa totally booted out Proffessor Ncube,Biti etc that’s a big NO and I’ll fight till the end and kuzolunga konke.”

Tshabangu said people might not understand what he is doing now but they will later.

“Christ once said,a prophet isn’t recognised in his town,Why do I say this? A lot of my fellow CCC members can’t detect the reason behind what I’m doing but take note that you’ll understand it later.Whether you support me or not,I won’t stop till I restore legacy in opposition,” he said.

Tshabvangu said he had received deaths threats from Chamisa’s people but if this continues he could make Bulawayo a no-go area for Chamisa.

“Since I launched my operation to restore democracy,Constitutionalism and the Opposition’s dignity,I have received a lot of death threats from Chamisa’s people but let me warn Chamisa that if he insists,I will turn the whole Bulawayo into his no go área and I fear fokol,” he said.
