Those were the days- Where do Zimbabweans get all that money?

Four years ago, on a trip to South Africa, a security guard asked a Zimbabwean woman where Zimbabweans got all the money they were changing after the bureau ran out of cash twice but people still wanted to cash their travellers’ cheques.  Even today in cities like Harare one still wonders were some people are getting all their money.
