The question no one is asking about the Chamisa Supreme Court case

Debate about the Supreme Court case over the leadership of the Movement for Democratic Change formerly led by Morgan Tsvangirai continues with neither side yielding.

There is, however, one question no one is asking.

If the Movement for Democratic Change, which is now accusing Douglas Mwonzora and Morgen Komichi of being ZANU-PF fronts, did not trust the duo, why did the party allow Komichi to represent it at the Supreme Court?

The court record shows that Komichi “opposed the application and deposed to an affidavit on behalf of the first and second appellants as well as the second and fourth respondents”.

The first and second appellants are the MDC and Nelson Chamisa, while the second and fourth respondents are Elias Mudzuri and Douglas Mwonzora.

Wasn’t it odd that Komichi should speak on behalf of the party and its leader and at the same time on behalf of Mudzuri and Mwonzora who were respondents?
