Three years ago, I was asked to present a paper on the State of the Media in Zimbabwe at the African Investigative Journalism Conference in Johannesburg. When I read the paper again, nothing much seems to have changed. The country has moved on after the formation of the inclusive government a few months after my presentation but the media is still wallowing in the pre-2008 election years.
