Only 2 000 people turned up at the Movement for Democratic Change’s proposed People’s Real Change Peace Rally at Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfield. The party blamed the poor attendance to late clearance by the police and their heavy presence at the venue. Party leader and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai did not pitch up because the rally had been relegated to a minor event.
