South African mediators today said serious progress by Zimbabwe’s parties towards agreement on a road map to fresh elections. Lindiwe Zulu, President Jacob Zuma’s international affairs adviser, said she hoped the Southern African Development Community would endorse this progress at an extraordinary summit on Zimbabwe and Madagascar this month.
