Wednesday is reserved for question time in the National Assembly. Questions time in the Senate is on Thursday.
Movement for Democratic Change legislator Innocent Gonese proposed that since Ncube was not available, he should be asked to make a ministerial statement after which Members can ask questions.
There has been mixed reaction on the proposed reforms with some describing them as daylight robbery as government was taxing ordinary Zimbabweans to raise money to pay debts which no one knows what the money was used for.
The government has also been accused of re-introducing the local currency through the back door as banks have been asked to reintroduce foreign currency accounts leaving many to wonder what currency will be in their Real Time Gross Settlement accounts.
The Speaker Jacob Mudenda could not say when Ncube would be available to make the statement.
