The Insider, which is celebrating its first anniversary with this issue, has been slapped with its first lawsuit.
The paper is being sued for $15 000 over a story entitled PTC uncovers tenders racket which appeared in its March issue.
One of the companies mentioned in the story is suing the paper for defamation because it declined to retract a paragraph in that story in which the company was mentioned.
The matter is now in the hands of The Insider’s lawyers.
