One person dies of coronavirus in Bulawayo, two provinces have no active cases

One person died of the coronavirus in Bulawayo today pushing the death toll in the city to 44 and that for the country to 228.

There were four new cases and six recoveries with two provinces, Midlands and Masvingo, reducing the number of active cases to zero each.

Zimbabwe has now recorded 7 816 cases and 6 112 recoveries. It still has 1 476 active cases with Harare accounting for 1 125.

There are now 33.5 million cases globally including just over one million deaths, 24.8 million recoveries and 7.7 million active cases.
