One person dies of coronavirus in Bulawayo, death toll now 207

One person from Bulawayo died of coronavirus yesterday pushing the death toll for the city to 38 and that for the nation to 207.

There were 140 new cases and only 15 recoveries raising the number of active cases to 1 410.

The total number of cases now stands at 6 977 with 5 360 recoveries.

Globally the number of cases is now 27.1 million and includes 884 300 deaths, 19.2 million recoveries and seven million active cases.

South Africa seems to be on the mend with the number of active cases now down to 60 901. It has so far recorded 636 884 cases  and 14 779 deaths.
