One more Zimbabwean recovers from coronavirus

One more Zimbabwean has recovered from the coronavirus bringing the total to 13.

All those tested yesterday were negative which means Zimbabwe remains with 37 cases of whom 13 have recovered and four have died.

So far 24 890 people have been tested.

The number of active cases has been reduced to 20 with the majority being in Bulawayo which has 11 cases. Harare is now down to four, with Mashonaland West having another four and one in Mashonaland East.

There are no coronavirus cases in six other provinces-Matebeleland South, Matebeleland North, Midlands, Masvingo, Manicaland and Mashonaland Central.

Some 4.4 million cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the world of which 2.5 million are active.

A total of 298 442 people have died of the virus.

The highest number are in the United States which has 85 197, followed by the United Kingdom with 33 186 and Italy with 31 106.
