Welshman Ncube was today elected president of the Movement for Democratic Change-Mutambara faction, taking over from Arthur Mutambara who decided not to contest the elections. It is not clear whether the party will now be called MDC-N or will continue to be called MDC-M. The party contested the elections as the MDC while the main faction contested as MDC-T.
