The High Court today ruled that the Movement for Democratic Change congress of 7-9 January 2011 which elected Welshman Ncube as its leader was legitimate thus ousting previous leader Arthur Mutambara. Mutambara and 13 other rebels, including former chairman Joubert Mudzumwe had been fighting in the courts for the control of the smaller faction of the MDC.
