Three years ago the smaller faction of the Movement for Democratic Change almost split when legislators expressed a vote of no confidence in the party leadership especially party leader Arthur Mutambara. They accused him of siding with the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front while he accused the legislators of backing Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC thus costing the party the Speaker’s post. Mutambara survived. Is he going to survive again this time?
