President Robert Mugabe today said the date for this year’s elections is likely to be announced next week after the Senate passes the Constitutional Amendment Bill on Tuesday. He said Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa is now in charge of the election roadmap and not Constitutional Affairs Minister Eric Matinenga who belongs to Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s Movement for Democratic Change.
