Former President Robert Mugabe says President Emmerson Mnangagwa has requested to meet him on his return from a state visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It is not clear when Mnangagwa is going to the DRC but according to the Standard, Mugabe said Mnangagwa, who insisted on Mugabe not calling him president, will bring other leaders so that they can talk.
Mugabe, who celebrated his 94th birthday on Wednesday, has complained that Mnangagwa is not looking after him well and is giving his wife hell.
According to the Standard Mugabe said he will not hold back when he meets Mnangagwa and his team.
There has so far not been any independent or government confirmation of the proposed meeting.
