Mugabe says EU might lift sanctions

President Robert Mugabe today said the European Union might lift sanctions on Zimbabwe. He said a delegation of all political parties from Zimbabwe travelled to the European Union to discuss with its representatives how the sanctions could be lifted. The EU had promised to review the matter and eventually lift the sanctions, Mugabe said.
