Mugabe hurt most by Wikileaks

President Robert Mugabe was hurt most by the Wikileaks cables that were released between November 2010 and September last year an internet poll by The Insider showed.

But the situation on the ground could be completely different as Mugabe has not bothered to take any action against his lieutenants who talked the United States embassy officials.

Thirty-nine percent of those that participated in the poll said Mugabe had been hurt most while 23 percent said Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai had been hurt most by the cables.

Third in line was former Information Minister Jonathan Moyo followed by central bank governor Gideon Gono.

Vice President Joice Mujuru was next followed by Defence Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Those who participated in the poll said the cables had no effect at all on Vice President John Nkomo and Finance Minister Tendai Biti.

The Insider, which is working on an index on everyone mentioned in the cables, kicks off the series on President Robert Mugabe tomorrow.

The initial search shows that there are 756 cables on Mugabe.
