More than 30 000 vaccinated in Zimbabwe

More than 30 000 Zimbabweans have now been vaccinated, but five people died of coronavirus today and there were 44 new cases.

According to the Ministry of Health 2 688 people were vaccinated today bringing the total to 30 658.

Cases rose to 36 223 and deaths to 1 483.

The number of active cases dropped to 1 108 after 240 people recovered, 151 of them from Manicaland.

Harare now has 605 active cases. Manicaland dropped to third place and now has only 116 cases while Matebeleland North moved to second place with 180 cases. Bulawayo now has 50 cases.
