Mnangagwa says wheels are already in motion to halt a Mugabe dynasty

Former Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa who was fired from the government on Monday and expelled from the party yesterday brushed off the expulsion saying he remains focused and the wheels are already in motion to halt the creation of a Mugabe dynasty and restore order in ZANU-PF and the government.

In a tweet after the announcement of his expulsion from the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front which he says he has been a member of since 1963, Mnangagwa said: “Be assured that i'm safe.

“yes threat on my life is real; my expulsion from gvt is just a starter on their menu, the main course is my physical elimination.

“but i'm focused, the wheels are already in motion to halt the creation of a Mugabe dynasty & to restore order in ZanuPF & gvt.”

Most of those who have been expelled from ZANU-PF have said that there is no life outside the party.

Edgar Tekere who was President Robert Mugabe’s number two at independence failed to make it when he left the party.

Joice Mujuru, also another number two, is struggling to keep her new party together.
