Mnangagwa escapes blast in Bulawayo

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has escaped what appears to have been a bomb blast at White Stadium in Bulawayo where he had been addressing a rally.

According Zimpapers, Mnangagwa was safe at the State House in Bulawayo but reports say one of his deputies Kembo Mohadi and Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front chairman Oppah Muchinguri may have been injured.

Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga was reported to be safe.
