Mnangagwa back

Emmerson Mnangagwa who is set to become Zimbabwe’s President on Friday arrived back in the country and headed straight to State House to be briefed.

He arrived just after 4pm ahead of the 6pm that had been previously announced.

Reports say he was hosted by South African Prsident Jacob Zuma before he departed for Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa fled the country on 6 November after being dismissed as Vice-President by Robert Mugabe who resigned as president yesterday following pressure from the public and the military.
