Majome fell out with MDC leader Nelson Chamisa last year when Chamisa backed Joana Mamombe to contest Majome’s former constituency Harare West.
Majome was one of the eight commissioners appointed by Mnangagwa today from a list of 12 that was selected by Parliament.
The Commission is headed by Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo, wife of Foreign Affairs Minister Sibusiso Moyo.
Mnangagwa recently appointed another former MDC legislator James Maridadi as Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Senegal.
Maridadi said anyone with brains in his head would not expect him to say anything negative about Zimbabwe because he was Zimbabwe first.
Maridadi was also sidelined by Chamisa in last year’s election run-up.
Party insiders said Chamisa sidelined all those that he thought were a threat to his leadership.
