Mliswa wins Norton seat

Themba Mliswa is reported to have the Norton seat dealing a heavy blow to the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front which dished out 9 000 stands in the run-up to the by-election. The seat was previously held by war veterans leader Christopher Mutsvangwa who was expelled from the party for disrespecting its leadership. The results are still to be confirmed by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission. Details to follow.
