Expelled Hurungwe West Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa today successfully filed his nomination papers to contest the same seat as an independent in June, but his uncle Didymus Mutasa who insists that he still belongs to the original Zimbabwe African National Union- Patriotic Front failed to file his papers for the Headlands seat after the presiding officer rejected his papers because they were not signed by a relevant party official. There have been reports that Mutasa and former ZANU-PF Vice-President Joice Mujuru want to form a party called ZANU-PF with the PF standing for People First. ZANU-PF has endorsed Keith Guzah as its candidate for Hurungwe West and Christopher Chingosho as the candidate for Headlands.
