MDC leadership blasted for ditching Sikhala

Runyararo Mherekumombe said the strategy was:

‏1. Mass Stayaways

  1. Peaceful marches
  2. Impeachment

“These are all tools that can be used to overthrow a junta making governance impossible until they accede to the people. What is your plan though since you’re not telling the people anything 1 year after stolen elections.”

Keitu doubted the strategy would work saying: “It’s all well & good to want to overthrow govt. But let’s not for a minute pretend overthrowing zanupf govt can be done through “peaceful marches” & ” mass Stayaways”. Overthrowing by it’s very nature is VIOLENT. The level of violence required for the task becomes e determinant.”

PANASHE 🇿🇼 quried: “Seems like everyone from @mdczimbabwe top  brass isn’t standing with Job. Manje Mkadaro ndiyaniko angamira naye, hayiiii!! We need guns.”

He got the support of Noeln Sibanda who tweeted: “Now I’m starting to believe you guys are zanupf proxies without the pple at heart…what Job resonates with every ordinary citizens in zim.we cant negotiate with an unrepentant junta, it will not work!!”

In what appears to be a damage limiting effort party leader Nelson Chamisa said:  “Hon Sikhala and I come a long way. He is a Cde, brother and I know his love for Zimbabwe. He means no harm. He expresses himself in very passionate ways. He does so because he loves Zimbabwe. There are few men whom I know who are as passionate about Zimbabwe and freedom as he is.

“We’ve always urged ZEC to ensure the credibility of constitutional means to choose leaders. Rigging the electoral process nullifies the most vital way to choose leadership. The right to act is a fundamental right. We’re the alternative &are entitled to express that alternative.

“We’ve seen time without number the manipulation of the electoral process and a resultant crisis of legitimacy in this country. Those in office undermined and subverted the constitutional process of a democratically electing government. That is the root cause of illegitimacy.”
