Zimbabwean activist pastor Evan Mawarire today appeared in court charged with subversion and inciting people to cause public violence.
The charges stem from his involvement in organising last year’s shut-down.
Mawarire pleaded not guilty and his trial continues tomorrow.
He was also arrested yesterday on another chare of subversion this time for a video he posted on facebook.
