Mabvuku-Tafara legislator James Maridadi, who has been at the forefront of exposing corruption especially by Chinese companies, has been elected chair of the local chapter of the African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption.
This was announced by Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda yesterday but was queried by Goromonzi West Member of Parliament Biata Nyamupinga who asked why all women elected were deputies.
Mudenda said this was an election and it was up to those conducting the elections to ensure balance.
