Matutu, at a press conference on Monday, said Mangudya was part of the cartel fuelling the black market because he was watching corruption happening under his eye.
“When things happen in your house, in your family, and as a father you do nothing, we will assume that you are also involved as a father,” Matutu said referring to Mangudya.
The central bank chief’s lawyers today demanded that the youth leaders retract the statements they made through a public press conference and public notice as well as a written apology to Mangudya signed by the two youth leaders.
The lawyers gave the youth leaders five days from today to respond.
