Energy Minister Elton Mangoma who was arrested last Thursday and is facing charges of abuse of office for procuring fuel without allegedly going to tender was today granted bail of $5 000 and should be back in court in 28 March. Mangoma is one of several Movement for Democratic Change legislators who have been arrested over the past few weeks in what is believed to systematic intimidation to test the MDC as the country prepares for elections.
