ZANU-PF has always used money to keep Members of Parliament and party leaders in line. It empowers you, gives you contracts, and when you start giving the leadership problems they remind you: “Just as we can build you up politically and financially, we can shoot you down financially as well. Toe the line.” Could it be doing the same to the MDC legislators?
